White Pegasus Horses

All of our horses are quiet and calm without losing any of their individual characters, either collected and reserved (Dolly) or more boisterous and love-seeking (Sissi) etc. They are all young and willing to obey every command the rider supplies them with hoping to make your ride as enjoyable and exciting as you may wish for it to be. They are well trained and experienced with the surrounding footpaths of the area, exhibiting no nervousness around cars, children, dogs or sheep, goats and cows that we may happen upon on one of our routes. All of the horses are small in stature and well adapted in terms of morphology and strength to the cooler mountain climate and uneven terrain of the region.

Hercules

Born 2001, our gorgeous Austrian halflinger Stallion. Due to the fact that he is a stallion he is only available for the guides or very experienced riders. Very cooperative and does a wonderful job keeping wild horses away and his own small herd intact. He will hopefully soon be the father of our next colts/foals.

Sissi

Born 29/4/2003, our beautiful mare, a princess in style and character, bred from a halflinger mother and a retired race-course father. She is very playful and loves attention, mainly from anyone offering food or a tasty tidbit! A wonderful ride, fleet footed and exhibits liveliness in her stately walk.

Dolly

Born 1999, sweet and calm, our hard-keeper Dolly is a local breed from the Pindos mountains. She is always willing to please her rider offering a quiet and smooth ride, perfect for beginners, and sensitive to every command. Her specialty lies in her trot which is particular as it is smooth as if the horse is fluidly cantering without creating absolutely any up and down movement.

Paraskevoula

Born 13/4/05, our tall long-legged pinto mare. With Lipizzaner blood in her, her every move is stately even when seeking attention and nudging for nibbles. She is a real teaser and loves a good run whenever possible easily outpacing her opponents.

Navarhos

Born 24/3/2009, Sissi and Hercules's gorgeous son with a temperament matching his parents, inquisitive and proud! Stocky and muscular at a young age already indicates that he will become a powerful horse.

Keravnos

Born 11/5/2005, Dollys son and our first birth at the stables. A real sweetheart always curious and wanting to nibble away at any new items that he finds. He is always seeking a lot of loving and nudges in order to get the attention that he demands.

Dionas

Born 7/5/2008, Dollys and Hercules's son, stubborn and kind, with a soft temperament. His colour remains a strange mix from his two parents, somewhat palomino veering towards white
