Both of our dogs are purebred Pyrenees, with papers declared at the Kennel Club of Greece. As typical pyrs they have wonderful strong characters and are extremely efficient guard dogs, protecting not only the house and property but the horses and their young as well. Both dogs are also accustomed to various livestock, indifferent to the various herds of goats, sheep and cattle in the area. They are loving with friends of the family and wary about strangers. They are healthy and well taken care of, enjoying the wonderful mountain terrain, climate and cold temperatures of the area due to their long fur.

Many times they accompany us on long hikes throughout the National Park of Northern Pindos, either playing like puppies in the deep snow or jumping into the river Voidomatis to cool off during the summer. Their offspring will bring joy and happiness as well as definite protection to whoever is willing to own such a "gentle" beautiful giant.

Orage

Orage is a true noble, strong, massive giant, wonderful to watch as he guards his "woman" from any intruders or other suitors. Many times his size alone is enough to ward off either strangers or other dogs. He is very loving with us and changes from a grown-up male to a fluffy puppy wanting a friendly scratch and hug whenever possible. Many times on walks he looks back as if saying "hurry up" or checking if everything is ok as we mosey along.

Hionati

Hionati is a playful adorable female darling, changing character in the blink of an eye when a stranger tries to enter un-announced or does some threatening gesture.

She is our expectant mother, brave and crazy, loving a belly scratch and asking you to play with her, and then running off to happily go bark away. No one gets by without her approval.
